Now that it’s almost December, the Christmassy mood is in the air, and Broadmead already looks wonderfully festive. We at the Arcade were wondering what we could do to spread some festive cheer, and have decided to invite one of Bristol’s best choirs to perform outside the building.
On the 10th December, Riff Raff choir will be singing a mix of modernised Christmas classics and pop songs with a twist, as the 40 strong group fills Broadmead with the sound of sweet voices! The performance will start at 2.30pm, and will be raising money for The Marmalade Trust, a charity that aims to tackle loneliness and social isolation in the older and vulnerable members of our society. You can find out more on their website.
Come along and join us, either in song or just to watch, and don't worry about the weather - if it's cold we will move inside.
While you are enjoying the music, why not wander around our many independent shops, most of which have some brilliant, affordable, and unique Christmas gift ideas and stocking fillers. Dolly What Not is selling a gorgeous array of Christmas tree decorations, along with Christmas jumpers, warm stylish coats, festive trinkets, and handmade gifts over two floors! Why not stop at The Crazy Fox, from which you can still view and hear the choir, for a nice warm drink and a handmade cake? Pop by on your Christmas shopping excursions, and don't forget to tag us in your photos!
